Definition

पानी या ताजगी की कमी के कारण सूखा, कमजोर या लटका हुआ दिखना। आमतौर पर पौधों के लिए, लेकिन थके या बेसुध दिखने वाले लोगों या चीज़ों के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर पौधों, फूलों या सलाद जैसी चीज़ों के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है जो ताजगी खो बैठें। थके, निराश या ऊर्जा-हीन लोगों के लिए भी हो सकता है। 'लेट्यूस', 'फूल', 'पालक' जैसी चीज़ों के साथ आता है। इसे क्रिया 'wilt' से न मिलाएँ।
