आम तौर पर अनौपचारिक, अक्सर जगहों के साथ ('walk around the mall')। किसी विषय से बचने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है ('walk around the subject')। 'wander' या 'stroll' के समान, लेकिन ज़्यादा फैलाव पर ध्यान देता है।
