〜で待つ

Definition

特定の場所（バス停、入り口、駅など）で何か起こるのを、もしくは誰かが来るのを待つこと。

通常「場所＋で待つ」として使います（例: ドアで待つ）。「wait for」とは異なり、場所に焦点を当てています。

Please wait at the entrance until we call you.

呼ばれるまで入口で**待って**ください。

You should wait at the bus stop for your ride.

バスを待つならバス停で**待ちなさい**。
