Ficar em um lugar sem fazer quase nada, normalmente esperando por alguém ou alguma coisa.

Expressão informal, geralmente indica tédio ou tempo perdido. Muito usada com 'for' ('wait around for someone'). Diferente de 'wait', que é neutro.
