Estar en un lugar, a menudo sin un propósito específico, mientras se espera algo o a alguien.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Expresión más habitual en inglés británico e informal. Similar a 'hang around' o 'wait around'. Se refiere a esperar sin hacer nada específico. No se usa mucho en EE.UU.

Please wait about in the lobby until I call you.
