家や仕事がなく、生活手段も定まっていないために、場所から場所へとさまよう状態を指します。

「浮浪」は主に法律や歴史的な文脈で使われ、日常会話ではめったに使いません。「ホームレス」とは異なります。同じ文脈で「浮浪者」も使われます。
