地上の機器や下位システムから上位、例えば携帯電話から基地局、衛星アンテナから衛星にデータを送る接続。

主に通信、ネットワーク、衛星など専門分野で使われます。「downlink」は逆の意味です。「uplinkポート」など機器の設定でも見られます。通常、複数の接続には複数形を使います。
