Definition
দুই বা তার বেশি কিছুর মধ্যে মাপ, পরিমাণ, মূল্য, বা মর্যাদায় সমতা না থাকা। কোন ক্ষেত্রে কিছু বেশি বা কম হলে তা অসমান হয়।

‘Unequal’ ফরমাল আলোচনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'unequal pay' মানে বেতনের তফাৎ। এটি 'unfair' থেকে আলাদা, কারণ এটি শুধু সমান না থাকা বোঝায়, অন্যায় নয়।
