武道では、稽古中に技を受ける人を「受け」といいます。漫画やアニメ（特にやおい）では、関係の中で受け身側のパートナーを指します。

「受け」は主に武道やアニメ・マンガ（特にBL・やおい）で使われます。対になる言葉は「取り」（技をかける側）です。一般的な日常会話ではあまり使いません。
