在需要時向某人尋求幫助或建議，或開始做某事。也可以指物理上或對話中轉向某物。

常用於表示尋求幫助、建議或安慰，如“turn to a friend”，“turn to alcohol”。有時也指改變方向，多用於想依靠什麼時。語氣比單純的“ask”更正式。勿與“turn into”（變成）混淆。

When I'm sad, I turn to my mother for comfort.
