何かを拒否したり、否定したり、親指を下に向けるジェスチャーや否定的な意見で不賛成を示すこと。

ややカジュアルで主に会話で使う。ジェスチャーとしても、意見としても使える。提案や映画、アイデアの否定などに多用。'thumbs up'（賛成）と混同しないように。
