Doblar físicamente la esquina de una calle o, más comúnmente, experimentar una mejora importante después de un momento difícil.

Es muy común en sentido figurado para hablar de recuperación o mejora después de problemas. Suele usarse en pasado o presente perfecto: 'has turned the corner.' Literalmente es menos frecuente.
