Definition

袖やズボンの裾をまくり上げて邪魔にならないようにすること、または誰かが暖かく眠れるように布団などをきちんとかけてあげること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

イギリス英語でよく使われます。“tuck up your sleeves”や“tuck (someone) up in bed”などの表現で見かけます。アメリカ英語では“roll up”が一般的です。
