Definition

새로운 아이디어, 제품, 방법 등을 특정 사람이나 집단에게 먼저 시험해 보는 것.

일상적으로 새로운 것을 특정 대상(사람/집단)에게 먼저 시도할 때 사용. 'try'와는 달리 시험 대상이 꼭 있어야 함.

I want to try out my new recipe on my friends.

나는 내 새로운 레시피를 친구들에게 **시험해보고** 싶어.

The teacher tried out the new game on the class.
