'trajectories' শব্দটি প্রধানত পদার্থবিজ্ঞান বা প্রকৌশলে ব্যবহার হয় যেমন 'ফ্লাইট trajectories', তবে ক্যারিয়ার বা জীবনের গতিপথ বোঝাতেও ব্যবহার হয়। 'life trajectories' বা 'career trajectories' বলতে বিভিন্ন জীবনের পথ বোঝায়।
