কোনো কিছু বা কারো তুলনায় অনেক বেশি উঁচু বা বড় হওয়া, যাতে পার্থক্যটা স্পষ্ট বোঝা যায়।

শারীরিক উচ্চতা বা আকার বোঝাতে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়, তবে শক্তি বা গুরুত্ব বোঝাতেও ব্যবহার করা যায়। 'tower over' সাধারণত মানুষ, ভবন, অথবা বস্তু সম্পর্কে বলা হয়।
