Aterrizar un avión en tierra; también, en fútbol americano, marcar puntos llevando el balón a la zona de anotación del rival.

Formal en aviación y expresión fija en deportes. En aviación, 'touch down' es el momento en que las ruedas tocan pista. En fútbol americano, 'touchdown' es una anotación específica. No confundir ambos usos.
