Definition

古代ローマで着用された、体に巻くゆったりとした衣服。現代では、卒業式などの儀式で着るローブも意味します。

主に歴史的・儀式的な場面で使われます。現代では卒業式で着る「graduation toga」にもなります。「toga party」とは意味が異なります。
