어떤 것에 소량의 색이 더해져서 은은하게 색이 있는 상태. 머리카락이나 유리에 색을 입히는 행위도 의미함.

'Tint'는 주로 하얀색이 섞인 밝은 색을 뜻한다. 미술, 염색('hair tint'), 자동차 창문 등에 사용하며 'shade'(진한 색)와 구별됨.

The glass has a green tint.
