এই শব্দগুচ্ছটি কথা বলার সময় ব্যবহার হয়, আনুষ্ঠানিক লেখায় নয়। 'খুশি' বা 'আনন্দিত' এর চেয়ে অনেক বেশি শক্তিশালী। 'I was thrilled to pieces' মানে আমি অসম্ভব খুশি ছিলাম।
