Definition
棒やむちで繰り返し激しく打つ、または激しく制御できずに動くこと。スポーツなどで相手を圧倒的に打ち負かす意味もある。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
激しい動きや強い打撃を描写する時や、比喩的に大差で勝つスポーツの場面で使います。「thrash around」のような表現に注意。'trash' と混同しないように。
