빠른 결정을 내리기보다는 어떤 것에 대해 깊이 숙고하는 것.

다소 격식적이거나 문어체 표현. 답하기 전에 시간을 두고 싶을 때 주로 사용. 일상 대화에서는 'think about'를 더 자주 씀.

Let me think on your offer overnight.

오늘 밤 네 제안에 대해 좀 **생각해볼게**.

He needed time to think on the problem.

그는 그 문제를 **생각할** 시간이 필요했다.

Please think on what I said.
