Definition
কোনো কিছুতে মিথ্যা না বলে যা সত্যি, সেটিই স্পষ্টভাবে বলা। সাধারণত সততা দেখানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।

আনুষ্ঠানিক ও অনানুষ্ঠানিক উভয় পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহার করা যায়। 'tell the truth' দিয়ে কাউকে সত হতে উৎসাহিত করা হয় বা নিজের স্বীকারোক্তি বোঝানো হয়।
