因为某人做错了事而生气地对他说话；训斥或批评某人。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

通常用于非正式场合，多用于对孩子、学生或下属的批评。“tell off”比“警告”更严厉，但比“惩戒”不那么正式。常见搭配有“get told off”，“tell someone off for (做某事)”。不是“告诉”的意思。
