এটি একটি ছোট রেস্তোরাঁ বা ঘর যেখানে চা ও হালকা খাবার পরিবেশন করা হয়, সাধারণত শান্ত ও আরামদায়ক পরিবেশে।

'tearoom' ব্রিটিশ সংস্কৃতিতে বিখ্যাত ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী; সাধারণ 'ক্যাফে' বা চা বিক্রির দোকান নয়। 'afternoon tea' বা পেস্ট্রির মতো পরিবেশ বোঝাতে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
