Definition

Tattling 指將他人小過失告訴權威人士，通常帶有讓對方受罰的意圖。多用於兒童之間。

多為口語，常用於形容孩子（偶爾指成人）為瑣事打小報告，帶有貶義。常見用法如 'stop tattling', 'tattling on your friends'。勿與舉報嚴重事件（report）混淆。
