控制水流的裝置（水龍頭）、輕拍或輕敲、或祕密監聽電話的行為。也是美國軍隊在葬禮上吹奏的號角曲。

非常依賴上下文。"Tap" 作為水龍頭是英式英語（美國人說 "faucet"）。Phone taps = 竊聽電話。"On tap" 意為隨時可用（"beer on tap"）。Taps（號角曲）總是大寫並作為單數使用。
