かみ合わない会話をする（お互い）すれ違いに話す

Definition

複数の人がそれぞれ自分の主張だけを話して相手の言っていることをしっかり聞かないため、きちんと意思疎通ができていない状態。

ディスカッションや議論で使われることが多い表現。「talk past each other」は相手の話を無視するのではなく、主にすれ違いによる誤解に使われる。

Sometimes, people talk past each other in meetings and nothing gets solved.

時々、会議では人々が**かみ合わない会話をして**何も解決しないことがある。
