Generalmente más formal o literario. Se usa mucho en contextos emocionales, psicológicos o militares ('surrender to temptation', 'surrender to the enemy'). Suena dramático. Suele ir seguido de sustantivos: 'surrender to fear', 'surrender to love'. No se usa para objetos físicos.
