अनौपचारिक; आमतौर पर बातचीत या हल्की-फुल्की लिखावट में। इसके बाद आमतौर पर जो चीज़ मिली, उसका ज़िक्र होता है जैसे 'stumble onto a solution'। 'Come across' की तरह है, लेकिन इसमें ज़्यादा चौंकने या किस्मत से मिलने का भाव होता है।
