「スチール写真」とは、映画やビデオ、写真撮影から切り取られた動かない一枚の写真のことです。主に映画宣伝や特別な瞬間を記録する目的で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「スチール写真」は映画・ドラマ・撮影現場など、プロの現場でよく使われる言葉です。「映画スチール」「メイキングスチール」などの形でよく見られます。「静か」や「まだ」という意味の “still” とは違います。
