Definition

乗り物や状況などを特定の方向へ向けて操作すること。運転の時にも使われるが、話題や出来事の方向性を決める比喩的な使い方もある。

実際に車を動かすときにも、比喩的に物事や話題を“方向付ける”場合にも使われます。必ず方向性が含まれる点に注意。
