法令規約

Definition

法令や規約とは、政府が正式に制定する成文の法律のことで、人々が従わなければならないルールを示します。多くの場合、議会などによって可決されます。

「法令」や「規約」は法律や公的な文脈で使われます。「statute law」「会社法規」などとの組み合わせが多く、日常的な「ルール」とは異なります。

The new statutes were approved by the parliament.
