州議会議事堂は、州の政府や議会が集まって活動する建物です。アメリカでは「キャピトル」とも呼ばれます。

「statehouse」は主にアメリカで使われ、「courthouse」や「city hall」とは異なる建物です。「capitol」とほぼ同じ意味ですが、ややフォーマルな響きがあります。
