Bir bölgenin resmen bağımsız devlet olması ya da bir ülke içinde eyalet statüsü kazanması durumudur.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Siyasî ve hukuki bağlamda kullanılır; bir bölge, eyalet ya da bağımsız devlet olmak istediğinde ifade edilir. 'Durum' anlamında kullanılmaz.
