何かが間違っている、不公平だと思うときに、それに対して立ち向かったり抵抗したりすること。

フォーマル・インフォーマル両方で使われる。'stand up against bullying'や'...injustice'のように特定の対象に使う。'stand up for'（支持する）とは意味が異なるので注意。

We must stand up against unfair rules.
