Estar de pie en un lugar sin hacer nada, a menudo esperando o perdiendo el tiempo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Informal. Se usa para momentos de espera sin hacer nada ('stand about at the station'). No equivale a 'stand by' (estar preparado) o 'stand up' (levantarse).
