"stab in" in Korean

찔러넣다

Definition

날카로운 물체를 누군가나 무언가에 갑자기 찔러넣는 것. 주로 칼 등으로 공격할 때 사용한다.

"Stab in"은 주로 신체 부위나 장소와 함께 쓰임("stab in the side"). 비유적 의미로는 거의 쓰지 않고, 배신 의미는 "stab in the back" 사용. 폭력적인 느낌이 강하므로 일상 대화에 적합하지 않다.

He tried to stab in the dark room.
