누군가와 직접적으로 싸우거나 경쟁할 준비를 하는 것. 주로 대결이나 논쟁에서 사용됨.
Usage Notes (Korean)
주로 스포츠, 경쟁, 논쟁 상황에서 사용. 상대의 이름이 뒤에 오는 경우가 많아 '누구와 맞붙다'처럼 씀. 긴장감 있는 대결에 쓰임.
