आराम से या लापरवाही से हाथ-पैर फैलाकर लेटा, बैठा या फैला हुआ होना, या किसी चीज़ का बड़े क्षेत्र में फैल जाना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर यह तब प्रयोग होता है जब कोई व्यक्ति या जानवर थककर या आराम से हाथ-पैर फैलाकर लेटा हो ('sprawled on the couch')। किसी चीज़ के बड़े क्षेत्र में फैलने के लिए भी ('फैला हुआ शहर')। आमतौर पर अनौपचारिक; व्यवस्थित स्थिति के लिए नहीं।
