スプールとは、糸やワイヤー、フィルムなどを巻き付けておく円筒状の道具です。

スプールは主に糸やワイヤー、テープなどを巻く道具です。「リール」とは異なり、比較的小型で特定の用途に使います。コンピューター用語では印刷待ちデータの“スプーリング”にも使われます。
