Definition

液体を小さな滴で何かにかけたり、はねさせたりすること。たいてい偶然や勢いよく。香水や水などを体やものにたっぷりつける意味もある。

水や香水など液体によく使う。偶然跳ねる場合や、たっぷり（例: 香水）つける両方で使う。口語的。固体やどろっとしたものには使わない。'spill'（大きなこぼし）とは意味が異なる点に注意。
