কোনো বস্তু বা যানবাহন যখন আকাশ থেকে পানিতে নামে বা পড়ে, বিশেষ করে মহাকাশযান বা বিমানের ক্ষেত্রে এটা বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রধানত মহাকাশ বা বিমানের ক্ষেত্রে 'splash down' ব্যবহৃত হয় ('The capsule will splash down in the ocean'), তবে খেলাচ্ছলে জিনিস পানি পড়লেও বলা যেতে পারে। সাধারণ সাঁতার বা ডাইভিং-এর জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না।
