Definition

যেটি খুব লম্বা ও সরু এবং দেখতে দুর্বল মনে হয়; সাধারণত গাছপালা, বাহু, পা বা খুব পাতলা মানুষের বর্ণনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'spindly' কথাটি সাধারণত নেতিবাচক অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়; দুর্বল, মজবুত নয় বোঝাতে। 'spindly legs', 'spindly tree', 'spindly child' ইত্যাদির সঙ্গে মিলে যায়। পুরু বা শক্ত জিনিস বর্ণনায় ব্যবহার হয় না।
