Definition

放水路とは、ダムや貯水池の余分な水を安全に流し出し、洪水を防ぐための設備です。

主にダム・貯水池など水管理に関する専門用語です。家庭の水こぼれには使いません。「非常用放水路」「放水ゲート」などと一緒に使われます。
