Definition

কারো নির্দেশে দ্রুত ও সোজা সামরিক ভঙ্গিতে দাঁড়াতে বোঝায়। কখনো কখনো কারো আচমকা সতর্ক বা মনোযোগী হয়ে পড়াকেও বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'snap to attention' সাধারণত সামরিক বা শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ পরিবেশে ব্যবহৃত হয়, তবে কথ্য ভাষায়ও কারো আচমকা মনোযোগ বোঝাতে 'হঠাৎ সতর্ক হওয়া' ব্যবহার করা যায়। 'snap' শব্দটি আকস্মিকতা প্রকাশ করে।
