Estar fisicamente sentado ao lado de alguém; ou permanecer com um sentimento ou pensamento e permitir-se senti-lo em vez de evitá-lo.

Pode ser literal ou figurado. Em autoajuda/terapia, 'sit with' significa aceitar emoções ou desconfortos em vez de evitá-los. Não confunda com 'sentar-se' (ato físico apenas). Muito usado em 'sit with your feelings', 'sit with the discomfort'.
