特に何もせず、ただ座って過ごすこと。リラックスしていたり、だらけている様子。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にイギリス英語で使われ、アメリカ英語では'sit around'が一般的。「暇を持て余す」や「だらけて座る」というニュアンス。目的のある座り方には使わない。
