Definition

'Shouldered' এমন কিছু বোঝায় যা কেউ কাঁধে তুলে নেয় অথবা কোনো দায়িত্ব বা বোঝা নিজের ওপর নেয়।

আক্ষরিক অর্থে (কাঁধে কিছু বহন) এবং রূপক অর্থে (দায়িত্ব/বোঝা নেওয়া) ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'shouldered the blame', 'shouldered the bag', 'shouldered responsibility' এসব বাক্যে ব্যবহার হয়।
