'Shirk' é um verbo formal, usado principalmente para evitar deveres, trabalho ou responsabilidade. Comum em 'shirk responsibility', 'shirk duty'. Normalmente indica evitação intencional. Não usado para fugir de algo por diversão como 'pular'.
